From 2004 to 2010 he created and owned the high-end restaurant "Cacciucco" in Sausalito, Marin county. Cacciucco was the first Livornese cuisine restaurant in the world. Using only products imported from Italy chef Davide recreated an 100% typical restaurant from his home town.
Running the kitchen at Cacciucco, chef Davide received high scores from all major local papers, including the San Francisco Chronicle of Michael Bauer. Major Italian newspapers and magazines like "il Tirreno" recognized chef Davide as the the best Italian chef working in a foreign country. In 2006-2007 he was in charge of the kitchen for the Kimpton hotels annual reunion. The same year he hosted a dinner for the number one Italian winemaker, Francesco Bolla, introducing his new masterpiece "Dromos" in the United States. In 2007 he was also nominated by the Culinary Academy of Rome for having one of the best Italian restaurant in the San Francisco Bay Area.

In these classes chef Davide will share his passion for Tuscan food, revealing tricks and sharing old family recipes.

In less than 2 years chef Michele and chef Davide have created a great circle of foodies and people with passion for cooking and love for Italy.

Chef Davide was born in the city of Livorno along the coast of Tuscany. He grew up among a family involved in the wine and food business for many generations. For the last 22 years has been using his skills and knowledge working in some of the major restaurants in San Francisco.
